TANGO mirror (2026)

TANGO is a freestanding mirror with integrated lighting and a rotating mechanism, inspired by the aesthetics and emotional expression of Argentine tango. The project explores how movement, body language, and the connection between dancers can be translated into a functional design object. Its form draws on the trajectories of tango steps and the dynamics of movement, while the carefully selected materials and subtle lighting evoke the tension, intimacy, and introspection inherent in the dance. More than a functional piece of furniture, TANGO is an interpretation of emotional experience expressed through design.

Interpretation of the Ventos factory chair (2025)

The reinterpretation of the Ventos factory chair offers a contemporary perspective on one of Lithuania’s most recognisable design icons. The redesigned chair preserves the original’s structural logic and minimalist aesthetic while introducing modern materials, more refined joinery, and a renewed silhouette. The project explores the relationship between nostalgia and innovation, transforming a familiar form to retain the spirit of the past while meeting today’s standards of ergonomics, sustainability, and aesthetics. It is a respectful dialogue between design heritage and contemporary creativity.

BBQ bench - lounger (2025)

The BBQ Bench Lounger is a multifunctional outdoor furniture piece inspired by the aesthetics of barbecue culture. Its rhythmic wooden slats echo the structure of a grill, while the adjustable backrest allows it to be used as either a bench or a lounger. Crafted from durable thermally modified wood, it creates a comfortable and visually distinctive outdoor retreat. A multifunctional oval tray fits between the slats, serving as a compact side table. The result is a modern, practical, and aesthetically refined solution for outdoor spaces.
